We will not be having Farm Fair in 2008. Stay tuned for more details on Farm Farm 2009, which will move to our Old Mill in Oakesdale, Washington. Below, you'll see information about Farm Fair 2006.

Everyone is invited to the third annual Farm Fair at MaryJanesFarm, on Saturday, July 1, and Sunday, July 2, 2006, from 10am to 4pm both days. Admission is $5 for adults (children 16 and under are free), and includes self-guided tours of the farm, face-painting and other children’s activities, and a full schedule of musical entertainment. In addition, vendors will be offering antiques and farm collectibles, fresh vegetables and flowers, and prepared lunches.

The MaryJanesFarm u-pick fields will be available for those who want to gather the rare Sweet Lena super-fragrant iris, lettuce, peas, strawberries, or garlic scapes. Garlic scapes are the tender flowerstalks that curl from garlic plants this time of year. The favorite food from past fairs will be returning: strawberry shortcake with real whipped cream and fresh strawberries. Self-guided tours of the farm will be encouraged, and free maps will be available.

A 4,000 square foot tent will be set up to house the vendors and entertainment stage, so rain won't dampen the fun. (Stay tuned for more details on entertainment.) Lawn chairs or picnic blankets are suggested. For more information, call Lucas at 208-882-6819.
