Greetings from Rural America!

Recently, a local farmer hoping to raise money for the restoration of his town’s community theater came to visit us at the farm with a fundraising idea and a favor to ask (farmers are endlessly resourceful). He asked if we would allow him to sell MaryJanesFarm magazine to his friends and neighbors, while keeping 50 percent of the cover price as a donation toward his theater project. Appreciating his selfless zeal, we agreed to try it, and he left that day with 25 copies.

Well, his fundraising plan worked! He sold all 25 copies “in a heartbeat.” And with that success, we got to thinking … what if we offered this opportunity to others who support worthy causes in their communities?

We know from experience how difficult it can be to raise money for a local cause. It seems rural communities are all too often long on caring and ideas, but short on funds to implement them. Please consider our offer as a way to energize your fundraising efforts.

We believe in rural communities. The content of MaryJanesFarm magazine illustrates this belief and will serve to reinforce an individual’s decision to support your community cause, whether it’s rural, suburban or urban.

Enjoy getting to know us through our magazine, and feel free to call us with any questions you may have.

Wishing you the very best in all your fundraising endeavors,

MaryJane & Crew

Why it Works

Here’s an example of just how much your organization can make:

If you have 10 people in your organization and each person sells 10 magazines at $7.99 per issue (total sales being $799.00), your organization would make $399.50. If sold at $9.00 per issue, you would profit $450.00. If your organization has 10 people and each sells 20 magazines, you would profit $900.00.

Our magazine has sold well in stores nationwide. For example, one buyer ordered 800 magazines, sold them all, and ordered 900 the next time.

Here’s what people are saying about MaryJanesFarm magazine:

“I picked up your magazine.... proceeded to read it cover to cover … I am completely impressed …” – A reader in New Jersey

“I have finished reading the three magazines you sent. All I can say is WOW!! I haven’t been so happy, empowered or motivated in some time.” – Becky

“I have just finished your magazine. WOW! I enjoyed each page, savoring it, excited to turn the page … I felt emboldened, heartened and happy.” – Theresa, Michigan

“I just picked up your magazine for the first time and I just love it! I read it cover to cover. Now I feel like dusting off my sewing machine, and I’m even pondering planting that herb garden I’ve been talking about planting for years.” – Lisa

How it Works

1. Order the number of magazines your organization would like to sell.

2. There are no up-front costs, but we do require billing information and a credit card to insure your order. There will be a UPS shipping charge added, if necessary. All magazines must be paid for within 30 days of the order date.

3. Once you receive the magazines, begin selling! The cover price of each magazine is $7.99 (Back Issues are generally $8.75). You may choose to sell at this price or a higher price, but magazines may not be sold below cover price. (Just a note — everyone that picks up this magazine, says they LOVE it! And, it makes a great gift!)

4. Keep 50% of the total sales for your organization. The other 50% goes to MaryJanesFarm.

5. We’re sorry, but unsold magazines may not be returned. We’re confident that you’ll be able to sell all your magazines, but if you are unsure, start with a small number and order more as you sell out!

6. Enjoy the money made from your fundraising efforts!
