I like calling my UFOs PhD (Projects Half Done) because when I tell someone I am working on my PhD it sounds more important. I have so many PhD and I'm always finding (starting?) more. Most of my projects are fabric related - that is my media of choice.

Post a list and when you finish a project you can add the date and post a picture. We all like to admire the talents of our farmgirl sisters and encourage others to complete their projects.

How many projects can you finish each month? Let's try for 2 a month. Maybe you can do more?

Thanks Linda! I only have 8 more until I reach my goal! Plus I have 2 that are just about done. I am determined to reach my goal this year.

Karen, that is so true. But have been saying that for like 5 years now lol! I am not letting myself off the hook this year!

Thank you Grace and Winnie!

Vanessa, your quilt is beautiful!

Wonderful quilt, Vanessa! I have some of that maryjane fabric, but it is not a jelly roll. It is fabric yardage.

This is the freshly quilted Chicken quilt made from the jellyroll that I got from Debbie in March. All it needs now is binding.

We always have UFOs and this has helped getten'em'done!

My quilt guild started something this year. We had to list 12 UFOs to complete this year numbered from 1-12. Each month 2 dice are rolled and the total number that comes up (re-rolled if a duplicate of one we've already done) is the UFO we have to complete that month. It is amazing how many great quilts have been completed that have been UFOs for a long time. I completed several that were 5-10 years old. LOL! We could try this, too??

@Winnie aka Red Tractor Girl,
I am getting in late on this thread. Is it something that we can do again for 2024? I have lots of UFOs and would love to join in to have accountability partners and get accolades!

@Sheila aka VT Oma,
How is the bookmark coming? I need to do that badge also. Shall we work on it together?

Finished up 2 more UFOs. A natural stripes hot pad and a Christmas hot pad. I am getting closer to meeting my goal of 24 finished projects this year.

I need to hand quilt it over the winter. I'll stitch around the bird and flowers then make a pretty pattern on the aqua portions and the lattice strips.

Grace, it really is pretty easy! But sadly I have to put mine down more frequently than I would like.

Thank you Linda and Karen.

Vanessa, your peacock quilt is so pretty. I bet you are excited to have it finished.

I have joined the Sisterhood of unfinished projects. Somehow, I have 2 quilt tops halfway done and a quilt label to embroider. The Peacock quilt is ready to get batting and backing and to be hand quilted.

Way to go Linda! I can't wait to see what they all look like!

Nancy, that is awesome! You really should feel proud of your accomplishment! One day I would like to make my kids a stocking like that. My grandma made one for me and I still cherish it today. I would love to give them something just as special.

When I finish my needlepoint stockings I am going to get back to my UFOs. I tried working on both things at the same time, but I really have to get the stockings finished before anyone in my family has another addition! I will be done with these for Christmas this year if I keep at it! I am so proud of the accomplishment!
