Just so I can get to know you all! What kinds of businesses do you all have? Do you make things? Do you sell things? Do you grow things for Farmer's markets? Let me hear from you what your entrepeneurial hearts have been up to!
I am still searching-I knit baby items, I sell eggs, I make quilts, I make jewlery, I sew, I crochet, etc etc etc but I haven't settled on just one thing!

I created Fearless Farmgirl Products(c) and right now my main item are my homemade dog treats. I wanted to bake but not gain weight so I started baking for my dog and eventually turned it in to a business.
Eventually I want to sell so much more! Yarn dyed with flowers, hand knit items, etc. I have an Etsy shop and a business set up on my blog. My husband is a woodworker and he sells gorgeous stuff too, most of which the trees he felled himself and had milled.
Love having a creative outlet and if I can make ends meet with it all the better!!

What a great thread! I now have so many stores to check out! My husband works full time and we live in town so we don't have a lot of space to start my farm dreams...but I recently purchased a breeding pair of French Angoras and will be using them for wool to sell and baby bunnies to sell to fanciers and the local 4-H kids. Www.coldhandsfarm.blogspot.com is where I'll be posting rabbit information for those interested in purchasing rabbits and I will be starting an Etsy shop under the farm name -Cold Hands Farm- to sell the raw wool. My rabbits won't be old enough to come home with me until July, so right now I'm getting everything ready for the start of my first business!

Horses we (Hubby Me and our 3 grown daughters) do it all. Colt starting, trail rides, barrel racing and raise barrel horses, riding lessons, etc....Horse art and other art too when we have time. We sleep well when we aren't in too much pain...Lol. We also have a water well service and we fix water wells.

My husband is a professional astrologer with international clientele and I am an artist.
Black sheep (baaaaaaaaa, lol!
We are renovating a 170 year old farmhouse in Western NY and have been for the last 5 years! I am gearing up to paint the outside of it this summer. That should be interesting..........
I also garden and can to help contribute financially to the home in addition to selling my artwork at shows, festivals and online.

I'm the seamstress/clothier at the Ozark Folk Center. I make old time clothing, hats, bonnets, aprons, and crafts. I teach people to make crochet rag rugs. I also teach coiled fabric basket making.

I have my etsy shop where I do "seedballs" and they sell well for me and I also do shows and festivals through out the spring/summer/fall. I sell different items for shows than what I have on my site. Lots of recycled/upcycled items.

I run my little shop "anna's trunk" on etsy-I specialize in creating little sachets and miniature pillows featuring quotations from classic literature (and more!)...I'm branching out now into making larger sized pillows.

I am thinking about raising alpaca once we get our farm. I would love to be able to sell the wool and start making different things with the wool to also sell. Anyone have any experience with this sort of venture??

Heh, I've tried enough things to know that all of them work some of the time (for me at least). It took almost thirty years to figure out that the insomnia is a side effect of something else. Oh well, more hours in the day, right?
