It is in the low 70's here in SW Louisiana. It is raining, gloomy looking, foggy, and humid.
I thought I would be able to work outside today. Oh well... I do plan to take a long walk; rain or not!

Finally a day without rain. We had quite a flood here recently. All my plants are doing well. It was warm today but hey--no rain!

It was in the 90' a couple of days ago, while we were putting up hay of course, but yesterday and today are much cooler. We had a little rain in the night last night, not much, but enough get the ground wet. It is partly cloudy and stormy looking, but nothing so far today.

Greetings from the morning side of the hill.

We are back in SW Louisiana for a week. The humidity is so high. Mosquitoes are out big time. Temperatures are in the 90s.

Jennie Lyn, today there wasn't much wind. Back in SW Louisiana, lots of wind was associated with a coming hurricane!

It is supposed to reach 88°F today and be bright and shiny. For me, this is getting warm. The garden loves it and I do need to get the hose running on it and the flower bed. Got my plants in late and the beans seem to be barely thriving. Most of them never came up. It doesn't seem that the soil is too cold, but maybe something is eating the seeds. Will try and replant some of the bare spots today. Volunteer zucchini are doing very well as are my potato plants which are blooming.

Marly, I had a friend who lived where the wind really blew all the time. I asked her if she ever got used to it, she was from West Texas originally, she said the only time she noticed it was when it didn't blow. I don't know if I ever could get used to wind all the time.
We have had wind lately, but not all the time, mostly in the evenings. It is warm again today, and supposed to get warmer the first of the week.

Greetings from the morning side of the hill.

Cool today in the Texas Hill Country. The wind has surely been an adjustment for us! It rained a little this morning

Yesterday it was 91, supposed to be near 90 today. We had 3 days of rain a week or so ago, not lots, but very welcome. It hailed one of those days and I am so thankful for the little hoop house/greenhouse covering my tomatoes. This is haying weather and that is just what we are doing. All our grass hay is cut, we will wait on the oat hay. DH is baling right now.

It's raining again today and temps are in the high 50's. Plans to work outside are put again on the back burner.

It's 10am and already 73.....slight overcast.....headed to 93 today with chance of thundershowers. We could use some rain but looks like everyone that is getting rain lately have had to deal with flooding. We could do without that! :)

Hope everyone has a wonderful day....despite the weather!!

My best to all,
Mel

It's been nice the past few days here in Southwest Wisconsin. The temps have been in the low 70's with the sun shining, and today there's a chance of rain and a high of 65 degrees. I'm glad I got the lawn mowed yesterday :)

Last night we had some severe weather in the Texas Hill Country, where my hubby and I have moved to. We are settling in slowly but surely. The winds were about 60 mph! Gracie the cat was not happy about the noise.

it is pouring right now. has been muggy for the last day or so. It feels like we went from winter straight into summer.

We had some showers today and it was muggy, I don't like muggy weather.
