On Saturday May 19,2012- I went to work in the morning, worked until noon. When I finished work went to hospice to visit my dear friend Pat, she was so very frail and would stop breathing, I knew it wasn't going to be long. I stayed with her for about 1 1/2 hours..kissed her, held her hand and cried like a big baby. Talk to her and hoped that she could hear me. I left hospice, picked up my mom and went to the cemetary to put fresh flowers at my dad's grave. Coming back from Hebron, my phone rang..it was Pat's brother letting me know that Pat has passed on. Farmgirl sisters.....thank you so much for all of your prayers and support for my friend. It has been a very trying time with my dad passing 3 weeks ago and now my dear friend.

So glad that Pat is now settled in the arms of the Lord. Feeling your pain of the loss and sending you hugs. You were SUCH a good friend and Pat knew how blessed she was to have you with her. Prayers for peace to you. Joey

So sorry to learn of Pat's loss, Lori--I know she is in a better place, and she slept away peacefully with friend and family around her. Wish that for all of us. I am sorry for the loss of a dear friend and your father, so close together, but you will persevere and remember them in these long still days of summer.

Lori,
I have been following your reports but I have not commited, but I want you to know I have had you and Pat in my prayers. I am so sorry for your loss. It hurts my heart knowing the pain you are going through, but I also rejoice for Pat being pain free and with our Lord, where she will never feel pain again.
I will keep praying for Pat's family and for you so that you may have peace in your souls. Just imagaine the smile on Pat's face and how healthy she looks now without the miseries of a human body.
Take care and you know we are all here for you when you may need us.

Praying that you can find comfort in the memories that you shared with Pat, and knowing that she is basking in all of HIS Glory now.
