I live in a small rural town, but I live in a new housing developement, where all the houses are similar in size, color, landscaping...I hate it, but here we are. Well, I don't hate it, but the farmgirl in me wants chickens and since I'm in the city limits, I can't have them! *Leslie stomping her feet*

Momshopsalotta kinda says it all.....I used to sell on ebay and could easily buy $2-3 thousand dollars a week at Target and Wal-mart reselling it for a huge profit. This was hot for about a year and a half then got as cold as ice. The funniest things I sold were a Powerpuff Girls toothbrush I bought at Wal-Mart for $1.59 and resold it to some man in Brazil for $25.00 (plus $12.00 shipping). I'm serious. Another time I got a book for a quarter at my library sale and sold it to a guy in London for $127.00. Canada was hot too. It seems that Canadian children get American commercials but cannot get the toys in their country (at the time Blues Clues). I used to get nap mats and nursery lights at Wal-mart for $14.99 and sell as many as I could list for $36.00. I earned good money and paid for both my daughters braces doing this. What was awfull popular was the Harry Potter games, figures and sheet sets in 2002 & 2003. I lived in Mississippi and alot of the people did not believe in Harry Potter so they were available in our stores. I used to sell them to other parts of the country as fast I could ship for the kids who lived in areas where they were sold out. I could tell you some good stories....mostly about men and their toys. Guys that would not cross the street to enter a store but would get into a ridiculous bidding war for a Simpsons figure.

When we first bought our 23 acre farmstead, the poor old neglected farmhouse was alive with bees. I made sure all work was done so as not to disturb the bees. One back wall was the center of all bees. We left the old plaster on that one and I decided it could remain like that and I'd just have floor to ceiling bookcases built on that wall when we get to that point. So our house has always been a 'Bee Haven'. And that makes me: 'Miss Bee Haven'. LOL And Miss Bee Haven was an old(showing my age here)punchline from a joke told by Liberace.

And really, I don't behave much anyhow(so many auctions, thrift store, antique stores, so little time...), so it sort of all fits together. ;)

Well... I always wanted the name Claire instead of Julie. I also needed a middle name so it became Sky. It also reminds me of Clear Sky. I know pretty weird. I always said I was a horse of a different color.
