In the "Makin' Hay" Aug-Sept issue of MaryJanesFarm, we introduce you to Jennifer Ferris of The Farmstead Apothecary. The Farmstead Apothecary is a work-at-home family business producing goat’s milk soap and other goodies. Jennifer and her family raise their own goats with an organic aesthetic, and the whole family helps handcraft 100 percent natural soaps. The farmstead kids even create lovely wrappings for the soaps from renewed fabric scraps.

Hello fellow farmgirls! I've got to clear something up...it is actually my oldest daughter Savannah in the hat. I'm not pictured in the magazine. She is so excited to be pictured in her favorite magazine that I don't want to steal her glory! All 6 of my gorgeous children are seated on the wicker bench.
