Thank you so much CeeJay. I came here to ask for prayer for all those in harm's way across the states where tornadoes are roaring. Then I saw your scripture....yes we MUST look to the LORD and HIS strength. I am remembering where in the gospels He calmed the stormy winds. My prayer is that He shows His mighty strength once again and calms the winds and that there be none harmed. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so!!

I am praying too.....we had them come through here today, but in much milder form. So many struggling now! Lord give them your strength and peace.

Please keep me in your prayers today - I'm meeting up with my brother & sister-in-law & niece for lunch (I think). It's the first time they've actually stopped here/at my place ever, and I don't think we are seeing eye to eye on certain things. It could go either way - good or bad! I'm praying for the good....I don't need any more stress in my life. Thanks ladies.

Ah, stressful situation diverted! Their daughter fell asleep & so they kept on driving. Good? Bad?? I don't know. It's done, not changing. One less thing to worry about!

I'm glad that you don't need to confront your family at this time. They may have felt uncomfortable also. Maybe this is a good time for you to pray about the time when you will meet and that God fortify you and give you the grace to have His heart when the time comes. Blessings to you.

I learned today that it is hard to sing praises to God...when you have no teeth.
But I went to Church and Praised Papa God anyway. Even went up and greeted new
people. I think God is teaching me humility through all of this; and keeping my focus
on Him and not me.

I went to my home church today after a really long time of not going. It was really good to go back, and I can't wait until next week's mass!
