I'm so sorry that I just saw this--and even sorrier that I've read Karla's update. I wish there was someway to take this away from this family. I'll be praying hard, and Violet will now, too, which is what I did with his last diagnosis--let's hope that all the lifted voices will work again.

Here is the latest that she put up a few minutes ago.
Talked to the onocolgist. No plans will be finalized until after the final pathology report but it sounds like 16 weeks of chemo - 5 days on - 3 weeks off), then harvesting of his own stem cells. Followed by large doses of heavy hitting chemo drugs and then his stem cell transplant, which will involve a 4 weeks hospital stay. It's a lot to take in and a lot to deal with. But telling Jacob that it had returned was the hardest of all - he just asked "Again?" with tears in his eyes. And then he puffed up his chest and asked if we could go to the library to get a Scooby-Doo movie. He accepts it for what it is - just something to get through. He is on amazing boy!

Karla- how can we help- we are here praying and that is so important- just wondering if we can help in any other way? Please keep us posted!
My daughters BFF had cancer- dx when she was 5, relapsed in 2nd grade and had a stem cell transplant- I understand the battle that they will be going thru!! I would be very willing to help if I can.
