I am chopping at the bit to get out and Glamp....
so I called a couple of my local gal~pals and we are going to have a trailer slumber party Apr.27/28th on my property.
It will be a blast!
Here is the catch, all 3 gals have Shastas & I have a Scotty...lol!
But it doesn't matter what we glamp in,,, it's all about the Glamping & fun..

Well, what are you waiting for! get out there, tent, trailer or just out under the 'Starlight Hotel'... Get Glamping!
(that's me in the plaid jacket... I always have to be different! lol!)

Well, if I was closer I'd just move on in on your girls and party with you . . . even though I don't have a "trailer".

You girls have a ton of fun!!!!

How fun! Some day, and hopefully soon, I'll own one of the those campers. Looks like a lot of fun too.

No camping or glamping here this weekend - raining and muddy.

No camping or glamping here this weekend either. LAST weekend we could of because it warm, sunny . . . and t-shirt and shorts weather.
This week it's Colorado Spring again and it snowed on and off all day yesterday with rain and teeny, tiny snowballs mixed in. It's snowing now . . . . and it's cold.
But it's typical and we sooooooooooooo desperately need the moisture.

I can dream . . . I'm working on a couple train case projects . . .

Oh I hear ya CJ....
yesterday was moderatly nice for the 1st 1/2 of the day then got cold again... but I did get some work done around the property at least.... (I also shoveled a lot of alpaca poo... into my garden! lol!
Today it is blistery cold but at least not as windy. Hubby is out in the 'ManCave' straightening up... I think he is using the 'straightening' excuse to putter and crank up his stereo... lol!
I got a little 'play time' out in Trailer #3... now all that is left (inside) is to line the drawers & shelves w/paper and tidy up... then we can drag her out of the ManCave, put the new tires & wheels on and get her down to the State Troopers to do the once over, search for the vin# etc and then we can file the paper work to register #3. We have a 3 year wait for a clear title,,,but that is no big deal, we can still lic & reg the trailer. We should be getting the clear title for the Aljo in June.... Both the Aljo and FleetCraft(#3) have no visible/locatable vin number on the hitch....so the State Trooper has to assign us one which will go into the system. After 3years it becomes a clear title.
I can hardly wait to get #3 on the road...and then hubby dearest can start working on the Aljo again.. well as soon as he finishes up with the corral and fencing for my horse.... I just keep that poor man busy busy busy!

Happy Trails

This past week while in Kansas, I helped plant 100 trees. I'm sure that counts as some conservation effort, right? Then for the weekend, my sister & I camped in tornados & hail at a mountain man rendezvous re-enactment. There's no glamping there, but boy do we have fun. Maybe we were glamping the pre-1840's way since we did have fresh wildflowers on the table. Soon, we'll try glamping for real.

It's all about the "Happy" what ever type of camping you do, as long as it makes you happy that's all that matters.
I can Dry Camp, no frills just the basics or I can be the biggest Diva in a faux leopord coat & petticoat at the campgrounds...either way I just love discovering my "Happy".
(fyi, I will however pass on camping during a Tonado thank you very much!) lololol!

Gracie,
Boy, I'm not into tornado camping either. When my hubby and I put up my new tent to see how it went up and how it was, he says "it's a three season tent". I said . . "I have NO intention of camping in the snow!" He already knows that!

3-season Tent.... that's funny! cuz I am a 1 season camper.... warm season only! lol!
Even in my tiny trailers,,,I luv warm weather camping.... I get up early and walk around outside in the clean fresh air unless it's butt cold in which case I turn on the heater and snuggle back down into my bed! lol!

Grace.... I've never heard that phrase before "discovering my happy", but I love it. Thanks for posting it.

Hey Gracie . . . me too! Warm season camping! Robin and I went shopping for that tent with OUR "glamping" in mind. In my part of the world campgrounds are open May - September. I don't mind dry camping in the mountains either, in fact we have had some wonderful times in beautiful places back in the woods. However, once hunters hit the woods I don't want to be out there. And then snow flies and it gets too cold by October . . . I don't like being cold and/or wet when camping.
So, I didn't have "3 seasons" in mind when I bought it. Dear hubby . . . .

heehee... Our State Park camp grounds (for lack of funding & support by the State) have started staying open year round... but 'Camping season' over here is sort of from May (for the brave) to mid Oct.
I am hosting our '4th Annual Sisters on the Fly Shop Farm Chicks' weekend and I have hosted 2 Halloweenie HO-Downs (in Oct.). We have the best time. But I always bring my little space heater and extra blankies.
Not to mention my junk food stash! :>)

Well, since I've seen both you and "kpaints" I kinda figured that. I haven't actually seen your feet as you were wearing those fabulous boots when I met you . . . but figured you were behind the camer.
I'm still jealous . . . but, oh well!
