Hay Ya'll Just another day here on the ranch on my birthday. My day is August 5, 1958. So every Birthday begins with letting 7 dogs go out at 5:30 for the A.M. stroll then feed and water the horses and donkey then check on cattle and babies. Until last year I also feed and watered the chickens and let them out to free range but the fox finally got the last one. This year I am going to hang up my apron and fix my "Outback Pack" and just leave for the day (after I do chores, of course). Have faith Farmgirls and WOO-HOO too!

My birthday is July 6, 1953. I was supposed to be born July 3 but took my time. My mom used to say I've been running full tilt since then to make up for time lost. I used to think that July 4 fireworks had something to do with my birthday and was really happy that everyone wanted to celebrate it with me. When I got old to realize that wasn't quite true, I had a sister born 2 days after my 10th birthday. By then, it was too late. I grew up with 3 boys and she and the younger sister weren't very interesting until I was grown up, married, and had moved away.

My birthday is May 20, 1963.
My favorite thing to do was go to a small town in the mountains in Arizona to a rustic log cabin restaurant and eat my birthday steak dinner on their converted deck. I could eat and listen to the wind blow through the pines and watch the Humming Birds use the feeders hung from the eves just in front of the big sliding windows. Bliss!

March 28, 1972. I love getting older. I find that I enjoy my own company! If I keep growing at this rate, I will definatly be 40 and fabulous!

My birthday is April 19.
some years it has fallen on Easter. I remember my mother using the Easter egg dye to color my cake frostin. Her birthday was March29 and it sometimes fell on Easter. How I miss her--3 years ago this July. |

| Hi Ya'll--This is Tutu from Oklahoma by way of Hawaii...my birthday is December 25,1956 I rarely find anyone else with this day and am thankful that my parents always allowed me to celebrate my birthday on the actual day. As a kid we had Christmas on Christmas Eve after church. |
