I'm growing my hair, too! I had long hair about five years ago, but then I cut it for Locks of Love and messed around with highlights and short hair and bangs, but now I'm just letting it grow out. I'll keep up with trims and such, but I really want long hair again! Right now it's a few inches past my shoulders, and I want it at least waist length.

My pixie cut is growing slowly. I have been taking a supplement with biotin, and my nails are growing like crazy! I wish all that growing energy would be applied to my hair instead. I have not shampooed my hair in over a month. heh heh, I do clean it with baking soda and vinegar rinse, and it 's no worse for wear.

Here's a current pic of my hair (and a cherry pie)
Still short, but some noticeable growth.

I have been growing my hair out too. I can now pull it back, this is great with the heat and hot flashes to just pull it up and forget about it. I am also thinking about letting it go gray, maybe, hmmm just not sure on the gray thing yet.

I've always had long straight red hair.... But around 28 years old, my hair went curly! it's strange still bc certain parts are curlier than others and needs to be cut properly to make it look uniform.. But it looks great when properly! I started dying my hair around 30 bc of the grays.. But most redheads know, red fades to strawberry blobde and roots are sooo obvious! The problem I have now is I found a great stylist who cuts and colors perfectly... But I can't afford both right now and I have crazy hair again and awful roots bc the color faded. Its $70 for both, but I know if I color it myself then go for a cut she will be all bent out of shape! She's not the most friendly woman in the world but she does my hair cut perfectly, I hate to risk going anywhere else bc they always do a hack job! Ugh.. Now my hair is to my waist with 5 inch roots (it's been 3 months since my last appointment) and I'm still debating what to do. Money is just so tight right now. I have just been twisting it up and pinning it (not easy bc it's so darn thick and long... Think of that new Disney princess from BRAVE. ). Maybe I'll wait another month and save up the money..ugh

Still growing here but it seems to take forever. It is noticeable and hopefully I can hold out until the bangs get long enough to either pull back nicely or be pushed behind my ears. Problem with that is it is thick and doesn't really stay behind my ears.

O, a trouble's a ton or a trouble's an ounce,
Or a trouble is what you make it!
And it isn't the fact that you're hurt that counts,
But only--how did you take it?

My hair is down to the bottom of my shoulder blades. I trimmed about 5-6 inches off a couple months ago and am leaving it be. I have been doing what is called "no poo",which means not using shampoo. You use baking soda to help absorb the dirt and oil,you can sprinkle it on dry and rub it in letting it sit for a little bit or mix it with water and pour in and massage simular to what you would do with shampoo. If your hair it not really dirty you can just rinse with water and you use a small amount of apple cider vinegaer for conditioner or it does help with dry scalp. My hair feels better and so does my scalp,I have eczema on my scalp.
I also know that coconut oil works well for conditioner if hair is really dry or colored...my daughters do this...yes color and use the coconut oil and it seems to help.
I would like to ask if anyone knows of any other things that are natural and would help with the eczema.

I am a recovering cancer survivor with only about an inch of hair right now. Want it longer faster than it is happening. Are there ways to encourage growth? Have been doing massage.

My hair has grown out enough that it's gotten straighter instead of being wavy (messy) when I had layers. I'm thinking of having it braided. I read that "braid bars" are the newest thing at hair salons. You just pick the style you want and all styles are the same price.

My hair is fine and very thin, especially on top. Has anyone seen or tried those "laser" combs that are supposed to be good for male balding? Last time I rode a plane it was advertising in the shopping magazine. I wonder if they would work on women also.

I remember as a young girl, my hair was so long that I was sitting on it! Then I decided at age 7 to take a scissors to it...then ended up with a pixie cut and a very sad Mom! It has been just past my shoulders on the average.

Five yrs ago, I stopped highlighting my hair and cut off at the ear lobe! I haven't cut my hair since Thanksgiving 2011 (I trim it myself) and before then I hadn't cut or used chemicals or curling iron for 2 yrs. Also am still taking prenatal vitamins. My hair is 23-24" long and is at my waist! I always wanted to grow my hair long again but with it being fine and also having thyroid issues, I wasn't sure if I could. It must be those vitamins and a ton of patience! So be patient ladies, it pays off in the end!
