Yes Flat rate boxes are the best if they are going far away, if it is your state or close sometimes it is cheaper to send regular boxes. My Post master told me that.

I received the goodie box today, whoee there was a lot of stuff and there will be a lot more when I send it because I took one thing out and re arranged it so there is more room...I pulled out some neat things.
I got 2 balls of lace yarn, a fun fur yarn, a wiggly straw,2 annie key rings, a hanging plaque with beads, embroidery thread card board winder, miniature dolphins, punch needle,1 pair of scissors, 1 pack of ribbon roses, 1 pack sticky notes, a watch, and a microspool of rick rack. I really enjoyed that and I hope Jennifer enjoys what I put in there.

It was pretty neat how when I drew the names it literally took the box from one coast to the other and back. No zig zagging. Glad everyone is having fun with this!

Oh my goodness!!! I can't believe how many things are in that box!! This is so wonderful! I took out some stickers, thread, flashlight, a pair of scissors, a dreamcatcher, a doll pattern, and stamps. This is so much fun! Can you email me to let me know who this goes to next? I didn't get an address. Thanks everyone.
